Head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Illarion Pavlyuk, said in his statement to the Rada TV channel that the next meeting in the Ramstein format will be held in Germany in November.
“The next meeting (in Ramstein format – Ed.) will be in November, the date will be known later,” he said.
Pavlyuk announced that the main topic of the meeting will be the preparation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for winter, namely the strengthening of air defense and the supply of artillery and ammunition.
Prior to this, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was at a joint briefing with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky ahead of the contact group meeting in Brussels. statedNATO will continue to provide full support to Ukraine.
Various meetings of the contact group on support for Ukraine from the North Atlantic Alliance countries and their allies were previously held at the American Ramstein air base in Germany. At these meetings, the supply of weapons and military equipment to Kiev was discussed. The first negotiations took place in April 2022, and the last on September 19. Such meetings began to be called “Ramstein” format negotiations.
