Erum and ITC Packaging document their collaboration to expand business in Morocco

The official event took place in TangierAn event attended by Erum Group CEO Juan Manuel Erum and ITC Packaging President Rafael Valls, as well as Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council President Omar Moro; Adil Rais, president of the General Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Northern Morocco and co-chairman of the Spanish-Moroccan Economic Council; and José Estévez, president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tangier.

Thanks to this agreement, the new ITCErum Packaging will initially focus its efforts on the Moroccan market and produce a portfolio of products for home and food at the factory owned by the Eurum Group in Tangier. This strategy, announced by both companies, It will allow us to be closer to customers, optimize production and improve logistics management, reducing transportation costs and therefore emissions.. The union of the two companies will enable the development of new, more innovative and sustainable packaging concepts as well as joint circular economy projects in the region.

Even though both companies work in the same industry, their product portfolios are complementary.. Ibense specializes in food packaging, while Alcoyana produces hangers and automotive parts, among others.
