Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced that the air attack warning, which lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes in the city, was lifted. He wrote this in his book telegram channel.
“Air strike is clean,” Razvozhaev wrote.
The air raid alarm went off at 17:27 local time (same as Moscow) on Friday, October 20. The air defense system was put into operation in Sevastopol. According to preliminary data received from the authorities, a missile was shot down over the sea in the Lyubimovka area.
The air raid warning lasted until 19:12.
Before that, the city had already declared an alert. Razvozhaev later reported that a missile was shot down in the Kara-Koba area and the warhead exploded on the ground in the field. According to him, neither people nor infrastructure were harmed. On October 14, sirens also sounded in Sevastopol.
