Summary:
The police control and closure of some crossings in Bidasoa, the natural Pyrenean-Atlantic border, which France implemented in the summer of 2018 to prevent the entry of immigrants transiting to the rest of European countries, caused the death of 10 people in a year. Since April 2021, seven people have died after drowning in the waters of the Bidasoa River between Irun and Hendaia, while in October 2021, three people died after being hit by a train in Ziburu. In addition to giving voice and face to many activists on both sides of the river, this documentary also remembers those who lost their lives, conveys their names, ages, journeys and dreams, and recognizes history and people in hiding. After the cold death toll, we humanize the tragedy.
