Russians going on New Year’s trips have already started booking hotels and buying transportation tickets.
“One of the main trends in tourism is the increasing popularity of domestic holidays, including bus tours. This situation will not change during the New Year holidays; many are already booking accommodation and planning travel. Thus, in the first week of October, the turnover of sites selling bus tickets increased by 17% compared to the previous week. There were 20% more purchases and 15% more payers. The average bill remained almost unchanged and amounted to 6,930 rubles,” noted Irina Polyakova, head of corporate customer support service YuMoney.
