He noted that new levels of higher education will be introduced in the country, namely basic (instead of bachelor and specialization), specialized (instead of master’s) and an updated postgraduate course in which scientific personnel will be trained.
“Many employers today view undergraduate education as a form of incomplete higher education. To occupy certain positions and find work in various professions, you must complete a master’s degree. The renewal of the higher education system aims, among other things, at replacing the master’s degree in its current form with an advanced higher education,” Mogilevski said.
According to him, an in-depth higher education will be necessary for those who plan to gain deeper knowledge in their chosen field in the future in order to go to graduate school and engage in science, as well as those who want to engage in science. higher qualifications. At the same time, the deputy minister noted that a basic level of education will already allow a person to find a job and be “fully in demand in the labor market.”
