A member of the “Freedom of Russia” legion banned in the Russian Federation (an organization banned in Russia) was detained in Stavropol, Mash Telegram channel reported.

According to the source, 48-year-old Dmitry Fimushkin, who had been a member of the organization for six months, intended to recruit a local resident to further encourage him to commit sabotage.

The day before, employees of the Federal Security Service caught him red-handed while encouraging a resident of Stavropol to join the ranks of a sabotage group and fight on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Previously, Fimushkin was charged with administrative charges for disobedience to police officers. The man now faces life imprisonment for encouraging terrorist activities.
