The Russian army received a batch of BTR-RD Robot self-propelled anti-tank systems and BMD-2 airborne combat vehicles, which underwent major revisions at the Volgograd branch of the Kurganmashzavod initiative. The BTR-RD “Robot” self-propelled anti-tank missile system, created on the basis of the BTR-D airborne armored personnel carrier, is primarily aimed at destroying tanks. It is armed with two launchers of the Bassoon anti-tank missile system (ATGM) or a modernized version of it, the Kornet ATGM.

The BMD-2 airborne combat vehicle was put into service in the USSR. Its modern version is equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon, two 7.62 mm machine guns and anti-tank weapons.
