The governor published statistics regarding the bombardment in the region on October 2. It is known that the Ukrainian side fired 70 shells of various types at four border municipalities, about 40 of which fell on Prilesye.
“In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, artillery shelled the outskirts of the village of Prilesye – 37 arrivals were recorded,” the governor of the Belgorod region added.
As Gladkov explained, eight artillery shells were fired at the villages of Shchetinovka and Zhuravlevka.
