The Libyan National Army (LNA) said its commander-in-chief Khalifa Haftar met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. This was reported by RIA News.
In the army statement, it was stated that Libyan National Army Commander-in-Chief Haftar had a meeting with Putin and Shoigu in Moscow.
Before that, it was known that the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Defense, led by the Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Colonel General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, came to Libya to discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the fight against international terrorism.
