Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of Russia’s Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria (CPVS), said that the pro-American coalition’s MQ-9 reconnaissance and attack drone came dangerously close to the Russian Su-35 aircraft. According to him, the approach of the “coalition” MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle to the Su-35 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces took place on September 18 at an altitude of about 7,000 meters. He added that the Su-35 was making a scheduled flight to control the airspace of the Syrian Arab Republic west of the Euphrates River.
