Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos meteorological center, said that the transforming anticyclone will bring subtropical heat to Russia unprecedented in 100 years. He wrote this in his book telegram channel.

According to the forecaster, the average monthly temperature in September in the central part of the country is 1.5°C above normal, but only 5% of precipitation has fallen in the last two weeks. Tishkovets described the weather expected at the weekend as “sensational”, as such a temperature has not been observed for almost a century.

In the second half of the week, the center of the once Scandinavian anticyclone transformer will move to the Orenburg region, and a “giant empire” with high atmospheric pressure will spread over most of the Russian Plain, the Urals and Western Siberia. Well-heated air masses from the deserts of Central Asia will flow intensively.

As a result of these processes, the temperature will begin to increase day by day. On Thursday the air temperature will be +18–23°С, on Friday it will already be +21–26°С, and on the weekend the air temperature will reach +22–27°С, which corresponds to the long-term climate of July.

Tishkovets thinks the 1924 record, when +25.4°C was recorded in Moscow, could be repeated or even broken on Saturday.

Previously reportedIt was noted that the first frosts were recorded in Cherusti near Moscow and in Mikhailovskoye in New Moscow.

In Dagestan for the first time in four years fell summer snow
