The plane crash occurred in the equatorial rainforest of the Amazon River basin in northern Brazil, the TV channel reported. CNN BrazilIt refers to the governor of the municipality of Barcelos in the state of Amazonas.
The tragedy occurred around 14:00 local time (21:00 Moscow time). The plane was landing at an airport 400 km away from Manaus, the state’s administrative capital, during a rainstorm.
There were 12 tourists and 2 crew members on the Embraer Bandeirante plane. There is no survivor of the accident.
It is currently being determined whether there are foreign nationals on the ship.
On September 12, an Airbus-A320 of Ural Airlines crash-landed in a field in the Ubinsky district of the Novosibirsk region. There were 159 passengers on the plane, including 23 children. Airline CEO explained Emergency landing due to failure of one of the hydraulic systems. The passengers of the plane arrived in Omsk by train.
