Roscosmos is preparing to launch a launch vehicle bearing the corporate logo of the international exhibition and forum “Russia”, which will start in November at VDNKh telegram channel Exhibitions. The launch of the Soyuz MS-24 manned transport spacecraft with the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle will take place on September 15.
The ship’s crew will travel to the International Space Station via an ultra-short route; The flight will last 3 hours and 14 minutes.
Crew members include Oleg Kononenko, deputy chief of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, commander of the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps, cosmonaut Nikolai Chub and NASA astronaut Laurel O’Hara.
The logo of the exhibition-forum “Russia” was presented for the first time at the beginning of summer.
The organizers of the forum explain that the corporate identity was developed taking into account six main periods of Russian history. The style of each letter contains a reference to a specific period: the reign of Prince Vladimir, the Grand Duchy, the Kingdom of Russia, the Russian Empire, the USSR and the Russian Federation. The evolution of font forms reflects the development of culture, people and country.
According to Natalya Virtuozova, director of the Achievements exhibition “Russia”, the exhibition will be dedicated to the country’s advanced experience in science, technology, culture and education.
“The launch of a rocket with the exhibition logo is a bright event on the eve of the opening of the country’s largest event,” Virtuozova said.
