The Ruviki Internet Encyclopedia and the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) signed a cooperation agreement, in which profile scientists and specialists will study the materials on the portal. It has been reported press office HE RAN.
Representatives of the organization stated that the general director of the project, Vladimir Medeiko, and the head of the academy, Gennady Krasnikov, attended the signing ceremony. In the report, it was stated that the parties also agreed to review at least 2,5 thousand articles by the end of 2023.
“In the first stage, studies on subjects such as history and physics will be carried out,” the press service said.
Commenting on the agreements with Ruviki, Krasnikov noted that importance is given to disseminating only reliable and up-to-date information. In this regard, the head of the organization noted the readiness of members of the Russian Academy of Sciences to provide the necessary support to the Internet encyclopedia and contribute to the filling of its database.
The beta version of the Ruviki portal was made available on June 27, 2023. The online encyclopedia was created on the basis of the Russian section of Wikipedia, in accordance with the legislation of the country and the principle of presenting materials from an impartial point of view.
