Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov said that the entire power bloc in the country is working above expectations and ensuring the security of the state. writes about it RIA News.

In an interview with the ONT TV channel, Kubrakov noted that the work of law enforcement agencies is not always visible, the public sees only a small part of their activity. He explained that some of the employees are busy with ensuring road safety and maintaining public order, while the majority of them work by collecting information quickly and confidentially. The purpose of their work is to prevent crime in the country. The Minister emphasized that the security problem in Belarus is solved through prevention.

He noted that the police alone cannot provide security, therefore the entire power structure in the country works together. Kubrakov drew attention to the tense situation on Belarus’ borders with Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania. Police officers, including special forces and riot police, assist border guards in maintaining security, including work in the border area.

The minister assured them that if assistance was needed, they did not expect unnecessary formalities and were always ready to provide support. He stressed that they are proactive and as soon as information about their intention to commit crimes on the territory of Belarus, especially their intention to cause physical harm to citizens, is received, the response will be immediate and definite.
