On August 13, the VK Star Market took place in Moscow. The press service of VK reported that at the event in the format of “garage sale”, guests will be able to buy clothes and accessories from celebrities.
According to the results of the donation sale, it was noted that more than 800 thousand rubles were collected. All proceeds were transferred to the Second Wind charity fund through the VK Dobro service.
The Second Wind Foundation collects, sorts, redistributes and recycles clothing at any stage of its life. Thanks to the amount of donations collected, the foundation will be able to further develop important system projects and help people. At the same time, goods not sold in the market will be transferred to the “Second Wind” (No Shop) charity shops.
As Philip Kirkorov, who participated in the sale, emphasized, it is important for a public official to be responsible for their actions.
“Performers, bloggers, are people who have a huge impact on the audience. Mindful consumption is a great habit that is easy to follow. And we hope that our participation in the VK Star Market fair will be a motivation for many,” he said.
Among the guests of VK Star Market were Nyusha, Instasamka, Moneyken, Artemy Lebedev, singers Pegas, Kristina Kosheleva, Asammuell, hip-hop artist Yanix, singers Max Svoboda and Oleg Ternovoy, popular bloggers and influencers.

Experts from the Second Wind Foundation talked about whether it is possible to make “skin” from pineapple and “silk” from milk, and how to give a second life to your favorite clothes. As part of their public talk, stylist Gosha Kartsev and Diana Taeva, Beauty and Style director in the VK community department, discussed the main trends in the fashion industry.
