Officials of the Odessa region officially announced the opening of local sea beaches for vacationers. This was announced on the Telegram channel by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.
“The swimming and wellness areas have officially opened,” he wrote, adding that six beaches are already open.
The number of washing areas will be increased as inspections are carried out in the future. According to Kiper, the opening of the beaches became possible after the signing of a joint order with the commander of the Odessa operational strategic unit group Eduard Moskalev on public access to the coastal zone.
The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration noted that tourists can sunbathe and swim on the beaches between 08:00 and 20:00. However, it is forbidden to enter the Black Sea waters of any sea vessel other than those belonging to the rescue services. Rest areas should be equipped with protective nets that exclude mines, lookout and rescue posts, buoys, loudspeakers and bunkers.
Kiper pointed out that the water quality in the Black Sea has stabilized and meets all health standards.
