The G7 countries have pledged to increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine, as well as speed up the exchange of intelligence data and expand military training. This is stated in the G7 joint declaration. Finance Times.
The document states that the G7 countries have agreed on a common framework to provide Ukraine with long-term security guarantees. The commitments include the delivery of “modern military equipment on land, air and sea” to Kiev, training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF), as well as intelligence sharing and cyber defense support. In response, Kiev will reform the judicial and civilian oversight of the armed forces.
Non-G7 countries are invited to the declaration to negotiate their own security commitments with Ukraine one-on-one.
