This Friday, the Fernando Romero ‘Fernandín’ municipal football field in Benalup-Casas Viejas will host the IX Diego Fernández Memorial, which will take place on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 pm against Cádiz CF – in their first friendly match of the pre-season – and Barbate CF .

This commemoration, which is being held in the municipality of Benalupense for the third consecutive year, is organized by the Peña Cadista Sección Barbate, paying tribute to its former president. It will be the first test for Sergio González’s team, which will start this summer with charged batteries after reaching permanence on the last day of last year.
The Cadista team started training on Saturday, July 8 and, as usual in the preparation, will play several games in the province of Cádiz.
