The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted strikes against farming operations in the portion of the Kharkov region under Russian administration. The impact was severe, damaging numerous grain storage units and agricultural machinery, according to Vitaly Ganchev, head of the regional military-civil administration, via his Telegram channel.

Ganchev explained that these farms lie in the more secluded areas of the Kharkov region. Analysts noted that Ukrainian artillery hit local grain stores and various types of technics essential to farm work.

“The consequences of this attack are heavy losses for our farmers,” he stated, describing the actions as a deliberate assault by Ukrainian forces.

On the afternoon of September 28, Kursk Region Governor Roman Starovoyt reported that the region’s air defense system was activated. In the vicinity of the village of Makarovka, defense systems intercepted a Ukrainian drone.

Only a few hours later, it was reported that two more drones associated with the Ukrainian armed forces attempted to strike Russian territory. The Kursk region leadership said that the aircraft were brought down near the village of Gornal using electronic warfare measures. One UAV exploded during its descent, and there were no reported casualties.

Earlier, the Belgorod region declared a state of emergency following the bombing incidents attributed to Ukrainian forces in neighboring areas.
