Help is in place. A regional plan supports maternity and paternity protection while encouraging higher birth rates and better family balance. The measure aims to ease the initial costs families face when a new child arrives. For families with two children, 3,600 euros will be paid in a single sum; for three children, 5,400 euros; and so on for additional children.
This initiative is driven by the Community of Madrid. The 1,800 euro aid applies to families with children living in Madrid and takes effect in 2024. The aid covers extended families and single parents with multiple births or adoptions. The payment is made as a single 1,800 euro sum for each eligible child. If two children qualify, the combined amount is 3,600 euros, and so forth for more children.
