The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine (MKIP) announced that they refused to extend the lease for the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) for the Refectory and Assumption churches in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the episode.

The corresponding decision was taken in connection with the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the imposition of new sanctions against representatives of the UOC.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Alexander Rudnik, general director of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve, sent a corresponding letter to the governor of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed) of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl.
