Library staff in Norwich posted a post on social networks, saying that 50 years after the book was given to the reader, it came back to them. To be more precise, the Dewey Decimal Classification for British Schools was withdrawn at the end of 1972 and was supposed to be returned on January 30, 1973.

It’s a mystery why one of the local school principals took the book but it took so long to get it back. In addition, this textbook no longer meets modern educational standards.

“Some of the information in the book may be outdated,” commented library staff.
