Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a package of laws that guarantees the rights of participants in voluntary retirement programs. DEA News.

The draft bill provides for the establishment of a system to guarantee participants’ rights in non-state pension funds (NPFs) on the basis of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (DIA). In this case, the cancellation of a license or the bankruptcy of an NPF become cases of guarantee – in this case, compensation is guaranteed at the expense of the pension reserve guarantee fund.

This fund consists of annual contributions from NPFs from other sources.

At the same time, another law signed by Putin introduces the necessary changes to apply the base document to existing legislation on NPFs and bankruptcy.
