As every year, with the magic of Christmas, many homes will be chosen to place a small pet as a gift. There are three golden rules that must always be followed in any situation, so that none of these animals remain an abandoned broken toy after the holidays:

1º Animals are not giftsWe should be a gift to them. All family members must accept his presence in a friendly and voluntary way and agree to care for him as they deserve. Everyone needs to be more or less involved in their care, but if one doesn’t or denies their existence, the rest should make up for their lack and at least make sure the animal gets all the attention it needs. Of course, so that he does not suffer the consequences of neglect or refusal.

2º Having a pet is not mandatory, however, it is imperative to have good, if any. To do this, we must provide him with enough space, take care of and properly feed him, and make sure that all his needs are met. Guaranteeing the necessary well-being will be one of our greatest obligations. Our trusted veterinarian will help us make this happen successfully.

3º Refunds are not allowed. Giving up is not an option. When the animal comes to our house, we will be responsible for it as long as it lives. To avoid any problems, we must properly socialize it and ensure that the animal lives in harmony and integration with its environment. Keeping it bound, living in an isolated or hostile environment will cause the animal to develop erratic behavior. On the contrary, if we always treat him with love and patience, we will always make it easier for him to integrate into the family and, above all, to live with us for many years, indeed until the end of his life. enjoying every minute of his friendship and companionship.
