The Indian Air Force has equipped Su-30 warplanes purchased in Russia with Russian-Indian BrahMos missiles with a range of more than 500 km, thereby expanding the combat use radius of the aircraft. Portal reports An India.
According to the publication, the new missile allows Indian pilots to hit enemy infrastructure without leaving Indian airspace.
At the same time, a source from the Indian Armed Forces told the publication that modernizing the Su-30 is easier and cheaper than buying European or American missiles of a similar class.
