Production of components for nuclear and thermal energy began in the Urals

The company SM-Detal, specializing in the production of pipeline parts for the oil and gas complex, began to produce components for the nuclear and thermal power industry. As part of the import substitution, the company developed its own software for machine tools.

“Computer numerical control – you set the program, it shows the chamfer itself. We could not chamfer on the equipment we had before, on top of that we will make these chamfers that the customer needs, ”says Dmitry Babenko, head of the production workshop.

Parts for pipelines have been produced in Aramil for over five years. The enterprise produces up to 6 thousand tons of products per year.

“We are now doing the same thing while trying to do import substitution because all this is expensive. Find your own equipment, units, components that can be placed in this equipment, ”said business manager Sergey Turyshev.

In addition to the transition to domestic software, the number of jobs in the enterprise has increased by a quarter in the last six months.

“We are also planning to establish two production workshops of 1.5 thousand square meters in this region. m, to set up a workshop for heat treatment with a heat treatment room, and to set up another workshop – a warehouse complex for finished products, ”says Andrey Sotnikov, co-owner of the enterprise.

The development of the enterprise is facilitated by the support of the Sverdlovsk Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund (SOFPP). The company also plans to increase the space of workshops and warehouses.

“The main instruments are our microloans for 36 months with the key rate of the Bank of Russia up to 5 million rubles, or a guarantee to banks for entrepreneurs who want to get loans from these banks,” said Valery Pilichev. SOFPP.
