Spain’s reservoirs keep falling: every basin is like this now

According to the data of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Struggle (Miteco), rains affected the Mediterranean slope significantly -Max recorded at 38.5 liters per square meter in Reus and to a lesser extent on the Atlantic side.

hydrographic basins, they are better off the interior of the Basque Country, currently at 76.2%; Eastern Cantabrian Sea, 69.9%; and that of Tinto, Odiel and Piedras with 66.4%.

On the contrary, what is seen most affected due to lack of water, these are those of Guadalquivir with 21.4%; Guadiana’s to 24.2%; and Guadalete-Barbate’s 24.5%.

This week’s rainfall has significantly affected the Mediterranean slope and, to a lesser extent, the Atlantic slope. Recorded at the maximum Reus with 38.5 liters per square meter.
