A 26-year-old man was arrested on Monday for trying to hit and strangle a 21-year-old girl. In a house in Paterna (Valencia), where the police found the girl inside the sofa.
Paterna Local Police agents went to the house in the La Coma neighborhood after receiving a tip from some neighbors who were terrified and claimed they were going to kill him, police sources told EFE.
The detainee is a known criminal in the region and has fourteen charges of violence against women. about seven or eight different women.
Two units of the police moved into the house, and although the man initially refused to open the door, he eventually let the agents through, who began searching the house to find the girl.
When he was about to leave, unable to find the woman, one of the agents saw a bed with a sofa, and according to sources, they found the young woman in horror.
The young woman with bruises was referred to the health center to be treated.
The detainee remains in the cells of the Paterna National Police, and the Family and Women’s Care Unit (UFAM) has undertaken the investigation into the attack.
