At the beginning of last August, during the second phase of the investigation, agents observed that one of the main suspects was meeting with another person carrying a suspicious bag.
Inside the bag in question, the agents found three blocks of cocaine with a total weight of 3.3 kilograms and were therefore arrested.
In addition, a search of his house in Badalona found 2.5 kilos of cocaine and 25,180 Euros, 2,300 Swiss Francs, a watch worth 6,000 Euros, a mobile phone worth 1,600 Euros and a motorcycle.
A few days later, in the third phase of the operation, investigators arrested three more people and conducted five house searches in different parts of Barcelona: Montgat, Alella, Badalona, ​​Santa Coloma de Gramenet and the city of Barcelona.
In the search carried out in Alella, the agents found the narcotic substance prepared for distribution in Montgat, while dismantling a secret laboratory where the processing and subsequent preparation of cocaine was carried out.
The agents also found 497 kilos of cocaine, a firearm, 75,120 Euros in cash, five vehicles, 12 cell phones, six luxury watches and a bill counting machine.
Finally, agents arrested another person in Barcelona for alleged involvement in this criminal plot dedicated to the processing and distribution of cocaine.
Searching his home in the Barcelona town of El Masnou, they dismantled a second cocaine processing and production laboratory, smaller than the previous one, and seized 292 kilos of the substance and large quantities of chemical products—precursor materials—especially 1,250. liters of hexane and 198 liters of sodium bisulfite.
The operation ended with the arrest of 7 people and the seizure of 836,871 kilos of cocaine and 3,450 liters of chemical products, 152,000 Euros in cash, five vehicles, a firearm, molds, hydraulic presses, electronic devices and other items. very precious.
