French scientists from the University of Montpellier found that patients with alcohol addiction and attention deficit and hyperactivity syndrome (ADVG) have a more significant decrease in quality of life than those suffering from alcohol disorder. The study was published scientifically broadcasting Journal of Psychiatric Research (JPR).
In the experiment, there were 206 patients with 40 out of ADHD with 206 alcoholism. During the study, all participants were lack of alcohol for seven to 30 days. Scientists evaluated various parameters, including SDVG symptoms, quality of life, impulse, emotional regulation strategies and cognitive functions.
