76% of consumers prefer mineral juice while asking for water in a restaurant.


According to the latest food consumption report of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in Spain (MAP), mineral juice is the most consumed drink by the Spaniards and represents 47 % of the total liters consumed in the beverage segment. And for consumers, according to the survey conducted by more than 1,500 people by four associations in April, mineral juice is synonymous with health and quality: Valencian Consumer and Users Association (Avacu); Independent Consumer and Users Federation (FUCI); National Civil Consumer Union and Spanish Rales (UCAUCE) and the Aneabe of Anulus Consumers (UCAUCE). While watering water in a restaurant, 76 % choose natural mineral juice, 9 % tap water and 1 % filtered water; It consumes water that serves them without choosing 14 %. And for 9 out of 10 consumers (89 %), filtered water bottles, usually served in a glass bottle and restaurant logo, can be mixed with mineral water.
