Russian sports ethics code will be accepted in the near future. The Russian Olympic Committee President Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev told this about the “Event Management Workshop” training program.
According to him, the document aims to encourage traditional values among all participants in the sports community: athletes, fans and trainers. The code will also contribute to the formation of respect for various cultures and religions in sports activities.
“Now we are developing the Russian sports ethics code. There will be 10 points, including values: respect for the elderly, to protect the dignity and interest of the elderly. Russia, as you can see. This has never happened. And we will accept it at the Ministry of Sports in May.”
Degtyarev stressed that any sports event in Russia has become a platform to promote the country’s cultural code. According to him, these volunteers are obtained due to the work of cultural programs, trips and ceremonies.
The Minister also noted the importance of the upcoming application campaign in all sports after getting to know the Russian Olympic Committee.
“First, this is an opportunity for us to create comfortable conditions for the national team: it is always easier at home, domestic walls help. Second, the promotion of our values, history, culture,” he said.
In March, 60 directors, manufacturers, representatives of NPOs, experts in the field of youth, and cultural policy from all over the country.
