According to him, cold air masses are moving from the north to Moscow, while air currents from the south are coming to Europe.
“On the eastern perimeter of the anticyclone, air masses move from the north, from the northwest, and around the western – from the south. Especially hot weather comes into play when two factors – the powerful energy of the sun and the transfer of very hot air masses from the south – resonate. That’s why such a situation is developing in Spain, France and the west of Germany.
The head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center added that the temperature in the above regions has now risen above +30°C.
