An attack by the Russian military on the Luch design bureau (KB) in Kiev could destroy foreign experts involved in servicing Western weapons, including the HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). This was reported by TASS military expert, senior researcher at the Latin American Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Stepanov.
Luch described the design bureau as an important facility for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, where the HIMARS MLRS is maintained.
“Most likely, in addition to the destruction of the equipment itself, technical personnel were also destroyed – most likely experts sent to Ukrainian territory through the channels of the American military-industrial complex, these are Lockheed Martin employees,” Stepanov said.
