The Federal Air Transport Agency will determine the cause of the Airbus A321 skidding off the runway in Norilsk. This was reported by TASS.
“The commission of the Krasnoyarsk International Transport Transport Agency under the Federal Air Transport Agency is investigating an aviation incident that occurred today at Norilsk airport with an Airbus A321 aircraft (registration number RA-73437),” the ministry’s press service said.
On the morning of Thursday, January 2, an Airbus 321A belonging to Siberia Airlines rolled Off the runway while making a turn at Norilsk airport. The incident occurred around 08:00 local time (approximately 04:00 Moscow time) while the aircraft was maneuvering in the taxiway area after landing. A spare aircraft was allocated to operate the return flight to Moscow, with departure time at 15:30. The prosecutor’s office also began to examine the circumstances of the incident and the plane’s flights were temporarily suspended.
