The Mi-2 helicopter that crashed in the Kirov region had been on duty for almost 38 years. This was reported by TASSWith reference to data in the civil aircraft register of the Russian Federation.

In recent years, the vehicle has been used as an ambulance helicopter by the Vyatkaavia airline. The company provided its aircraft to doctors, rescue teams and other departments.
Accident dead 26 October. In total, there was one pilot, one doctor and two paramedics on board, according to the head of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov. did not survive after the accident. Telegram channel 112 reported that the pilot could be Valentin Komlev, general director of the Vyatkaavia company.
