A nine-month-old child in Australia suffered serious burns after a stranger spilled hot coffee on him while walking in the park. Mirror.
According to media reports, the incident took place at Hanlon Park in Brisbane, where the boy was having a picnic with his mother. An unidentified person spilled hot coffee on the baby, causing serious burns to the child. The foreigner then fled the scene and was placed on the international wanted list.
Queensland Police assistant commissioner Andrew Massingham described the attack on the boy as “one of the most disgusting ‘cowardly’ attacks of his career”. The officer noted that the attacker approached the mother and baby from behind.
The now injured child has already undergone four surgeries due to burns on his face, arms and legs. Police released images of the wanted man and information about his possible movements after the attack. He is described as a man between 30 and 40 years old, with an athletic build and tanned skin. He was wearing a black hat, sunglasses, shirt and shorts at the time of the incident.
Previously, a man in the United States tried it twice in one hour kidnapping two girls from the street.
