37 dogs were brought to the Moscow region from the Kursk shelter “Right to Life”, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region reported.
The animals were brought to the village of Torfyanoe on the basis of the Moscow State Zoological Park (SAU Moscow Zoo) in Lotoshin.
The ministry noted that it is planned to bring another 100 dogs from the Kursk region in the near future.
Specialists from the State Veterinary Service will examine the animals for rabies, after which they will be placed in a mandatory 10-day quarantine.
