In the Kursk region, pyrotechnicians of the Russian Emergencies Ministry found and neutralized the warhead of the Tochka-U missile launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by press service departments.
It was noted that the warhead of the Tochka-U missile was found during the examination of the area. The Emergency Situations Ministry experts found and dismantled all the elements of the rocket and destroyed them in a special area.
Pyrotechnicians also checked the access roads and approaches to the main gas pipeline and cleared them of explosive ordnance. This made it possible to start work to restore gas supplies to populated areas, the report said.
It was reported that during the entire time the hunters destroyed more than 150 ammunition.
On August 6, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a massive offensive in the Kursk region. The region is currently under a federal state of emergency. In addition, a missile threat has been repeatedly declared there.
