The cheated husband decided to sue his wife and get a divorce, using the same video recording as evidence of his wife’s infidelity. However, the woman went to the police and said that Fan had violated her privacy by installing hidden cameras without her consent.
After trial, the court found Fan guilty of filming other people’s private lives without their consent and without valid reason, and sentenced him to three months in prison.
