According to the press service of the government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the governor of the region Dmitry Artyukhov announced this at a meeting with servicemen of the Northern Military District in Noyabrsk.
The governor’s meeting with the SVO participants took place as part of the regional head’s “Honest Route” motor rally, which started the day before.
Contacting the military, the regional head said that existing measures to support military personnel in Yamal will be improved.
Thus, he said, the value of the health improvement certificate will be increased from 120 thousand rubles per person to 150 thousand rubles. Thus, the soldier’s family will have 300 thousand rubles in their hands.
In addition, Dmitry Artyukhov supported the initiative to expand the regional housing support measure: payment in the amount of 500 thousand rubles can now be used to purchase housing on the secondary market.
Previously, only villagers had such an opportunity, but now urban warriors also have it. In addition, certificate funds can be used to pay off a mortgage or as a down payment. The measure has been in effect since January 1 of this year; the regional head announced it during the “Direct Line” in December 2023. 54 SVO participants managed to benefit from the support.
In addition, the head of the region announced that the amount of compensation for travel expenses for a serviceman on vacation and upon return will be increased from 30 to 50 thousand rubles.
The measure is provided twice a year and is in great demand by fighters, Artyukhov noted.
The governor also made a separate decision on the return of military personnel to Yamal by plane on vacation. The amount of compensation for the cost of the ticket will be increased to 50 thousand rubles.
“Recently, many tickets have become more expensive. Often men buy tickets at the last minute, because everything changes by the last day. It is also important that the amount of compensation corresponds to the cost of the ticket. Therefore, we are also increasing it,” Artyukhov said.
The motor rally of the Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug “Honest Route” began on August 18. The regional head will visit the main facilities of the districts and counties of the region for ten days and hold talks with the people of Yamalo.
