Witnesses said the incident happened the previous night at a liquor store on Alexander Eremin Street. An argument broke out between two drunk locals, and one of them returned home to get an axe.
An armed Novosibirsk resident went out into the street again and attacked the criminal. According to eyewitnesses, the attacker injured his opponent’s ear. Doctors and the National Guard arrived at the scene. The victim was taken to hospital, while the attacker was handed over to the police.
The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet confirmed the information regarding the arrest of the hooligans.
