The commander of the anti-tank battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade (OSBBr) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleg Romanov, ordered his soldiers to fire at the arsonists of military vehicles. A video of his call was published on the Telegram channel by the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua.
According to him, arsonists can be shot “without trial or investigation.” He noted that he gave his fighters verbal permission to carry out the death penalty on the spot.
He noted that he made the decision within the framework of wartime and coordinated it directly with the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
