Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on the updated US strategy in the Arctic.
At the briefing, journalists asked Peskov whether he knew what was written in the Kremlin’s strategy regarding Russia and China.
“The Arctic region is a strategic region for our country. Russia is taking a responsible position and making a contribution so that the Arctic does not become a zone of conflict and increased tension. “Russian-Chinese interaction can only contribute to stability in the Arctic, as it is not directed at third countries, but is aimed solely at protecting the interests of these countries and the well-being of their peoples,” the Kremlin representative said.
