St. A group of thieves in St. Petersburg “helped” bar guests get into a taxi and lose money 14:23

St. A group of men in St. Petersburg are suspected of stealing belongings from visitors to the city’s clubs and bars. This was reported by “MVD Media”.

The incident came to light when two city residents contacted law enforcement because their money and cell phones were stolen.

According to investigators, the theft was carried out by a group of teenagers. They approached a person standing near a bar or club and said they were resting at a nearby facility. As a result, the new acquaintance agreed to rent a car for everyone in order to pay less for the trip.

A driver who was the company’s accomplice arrived at the scene. During the journey, the men hugged the man tightly and stole things from his pocket.

Law enforcement officers detained the suspects. It turned out that the dead were a 29-year-old driver and three young people aged 28-30.

“Among the detainees are three natives of the North Caucasus region, one of whom was previously convicted of extortion and theft, and a resident of the Northern capital,” the ministry said.

A criminal case was initiated against the suspects. These people are believed to be involved in other similar crimes.
