The Investigative Committee of Russia collected evidence of genocidal plans of the population of the Soviet Union prepared by the leadership of Nazi Germany. This was reported by RIA News Referring to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.
“The available materials and physical evidence contain sufficient data to indicate the signs of this crime,” Bastrykin said.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee cited as an example one of the events confirming the existence of plans for the genocide of the population of the USSR – the mass murder of patients in the Lotoshinsky regional psychiatric hospital. More than 500 women were subsequently deliberately starved, killed by exposure to cold, or poisoned with gas or poisons. In 2022, skeletal remains of the victims were found at the site where the women were executed.
