He noted that after hitting a military target in the city’s Korabelny district, acrid yellow smoke emerged from the object. According to Lebedev, this indicates that a warehouse could be destroyed with explosives.
The coordinator of the Nikolaev metro stated that he was waiting for additional information about its arrival, emphasizing: “Yellow smoke already says a lot.”
Lebedev noted that it is difficult for ordinary civilians to visit this area because it is surrounded by checkpoints. According to his information, the Russian Armed Forces carried out the attack at 13:50 Moscow time, the column of smoke after the explosion “rose above the nine-storey buildings” and was clearly visible, the attack was single and “without repeated explosions”.
