According to the ministry, last week units of the Russian “Northern” troops liquidated up to 1,400 Ukrainian soldiers. At the same time, the losses of the Russian military groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the “Western” and “South” zones of responsibility amounted to 2,850 and 2,835 military personnel.
The formations of the central troop group, on the other hand, destroyed some 2,690 Ukrainian fighters. During the same period, Vostok and Dnepr units eliminated some 935 and 430 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, respectively.
The statement notes that over the past week, the Russian Armed Forces have improved their position in various areas of combat operations. Moreover, they managed to shoot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jets and one Su-25 fighter jet. Additionally, Russian military personnel disabled dozens of field guns, 11 tanks and many other equipment belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
